Why are religious people mean?

I work with a woman who goes to church every Sunday. She is always "just peachy" when asked how she is. Sometimes she targets someone and tells them they are headed down the wrong road and that road will lead to hell. She tells people this if they are Catholic. She tells people this if she just gets a feeling. She is a salesperson that works on commission. She looks people up and down when they walk in the store. I notice that if they are not dressed to her expectations, she tries not to wait on them. She has made customers cry. When she gets pulled into the office by the store manager, she usually just listens and then brings the boss, who is also a religious lady flowers out of her garden.

I noticed in church one day a mean woman who goes to church all the time complaining to another person about how they should not let non-Catholic kids go to a Catholic Church.

So here I am judging these people.....when I gossip...So here is a thought...Maybe God put these people in my path for a reason.

Medication

Does medication fix crazy? I called the doctor because my dad is on yet another anti-depressent drug. The doctor told me that if he takes the meds, it will most likely fix the physical side of his depression. What I want it to do is fix the personality. That's not going to happen, so I will deal with it. I don't think it will help the paranoia of a 82 year old man who thinks people are out to get him. For example, a 90th birthday surprise for his sister turned into him having a nervous breakdown and getting a doctor's note saying that he was unable to travel to attend the party. So my relatives get a doctor's note written on a perscription pad stating that he cannot travel at this time. He often speaks of 40 years ago when my aunt gave a beer away that my mother had bought for someone else. I had to go get meds to keep from jumping out of a window.
