BOUGHT AN ACORN STAIRLIFT FOR MY DAD.  HE RAN OVER A PAIR OF SLIPPERS AND THE UNIT STOPPED WORKING.  FOR THREE WEEKS NOW, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET SOMEONE HERE TO FIX IT.  I CALLED AMERICAN MEDICAL ON FREDERICK ROAD, THE PLACE WHERE I PURCHASED IT.   EVIDENTLY, PEOPLE JUST RENT SPACE TO SELL ACORN STAIRLIFTS.  THE PERSON THAT RENTED THE SPACE AT AMERICAN MEDICAL LEFT AND TOOK ALL OF HIS RECORDS WITH HIM.  THEY SAID THEY POSSIBLY COULD SENT SOMEONE DOWN.  THEY DID.  THE GUY COULD NOT FIX IT.  NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM.   CALLED ACORN AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED.  THEY GAVE ME A LIST OF AUTHORIZED REPAIR PEOPLE.  THE PHONE NUMBERS WERE ALL DISCONNECTED.  CALLED ACORN BACK TWO DAYS LATER TO GET MORE NUMBERS.  THEY COULD NOT GIVE ME MORE NUMBERS UNLESS WE WENT THROUGH THE SYSTEM "LIKE" I WAS BUYING A CHAIR.  SHE GAVE ME A NUMBER.  I CALLED THE NUMBER.   LOL OH YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN GOING THRU THIS.  WE FIX THEM IN MARYLAND.  LET ME GIVE YOU THE NUMBER TO CALL...CALLED THAT NUMBER.  I DONT KNOW WHY THEY TOLD YOU WE FIX THEM.   WE DON'T.  LET ME GIVE YOU MORE NUMBERS TO CALL.   CALLED ONE OF THOSE NUMBERS.  THE GUY SAID ....LET ME SAVE YOU SOME MONEY.....UNHOOK THE BLAH BLAH BLAH.....EMPTY THE CUP AND BLAH BLAH BLAH AND THEN HOOK THE BLAH BACK UP AND TAKE THE HANDLE AND MOVE THE CHAIR.  AND THEN DUCT TAPE THE BLAH BLAH.  THAT SHOULD DO THE TRICK.  CALLED ANOTHER NUMBER.  HE TELLS ME THAT MY STORY IS ONE OF THOUSANDS HE HEARS ABOUT ACORN.  HE CAN COME OUT THURSDAY FOR 100.00 TO WALK THRU THE DOOR.  AND THEN CHARGE BY THE HOUR.  SOMETIMES HE CAN FIX IT IN TWO DAYS.

MY SON MADE APPOINTMENTS A FEW TIMES BUT WAS UNABLE TO ATTEND BECAUSE OF WORK. THEY CANCELLED QUITE A FEW TIMES BECAUSE OF WEATHER. FINALLY, THE GIFT CERTIFICATE EXPIRED. I CALLED THE PLACE WHERE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO JUMP AND THEY SAID "NO PROBLEM"...."JUST CALL 1800SKYRIDE AND GET AN EXTENSION ON THE GIFT CERTIFICATE. LONG STORY SHORT, THEY WON'T DO IT. I EVEN OFFERED THEM EXTRA MONEY IF THE PRICE HAD GONE UP. I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING WITH THEM ALL THESE YEARS JUST TO GET MONEY BACK OR AN EXTENSION ON THE CERTIFICATE. DO NOT BE SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE IF YOU GOOGLE 1800SKYRIDE, YOU WILL SEE MANY COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS COMPANY. My Dad is 85 years old and loves the music of Frank Sinatra. Thought he would enjoy listening and he did. However, don't let the pictures you see of this musical fool you. I know what you are going to say....It is 2012, get with it. However, people in night clubs in the 50's and 60's did not dance around in their underwear, so I was kind of embarrased when people stripped down to there underwear. I was really embarrassed when during one tune, there were several couples in the corner in various sexual positions on tables. I could feel my face getting red, as a girl lie on a table in her nighty and underwear with hers leg wrapped around a guy while he was dry humping her. I really believe Mr. Sinatra would not approve. Also, I am all for interacial copies, every performance was of interacial couples. Ok maybe one was not mixed. Don't shove this down my throat and the throats of 85 year olds that really don't understand.

Best Buy and bullying Santa

I will make this short and sweet. Best Buy should be ashamed. When we as a nation try to stop bullying and then see these horrible Best Buy commercials with a lady bullying Santa. Shame....Game on Best Buy, I for one will not shop there until these commercials stop and an apology to Santa is made by the actress doing the bullying.

T-mobile and AT and T

AT&T T-Mobile. So the buy out is complete and there is already a change in the customer service. Here was my question for T-Mobile and AT and T. If I have a contract with T-Mobile, will I be bound by that contract until 2012. You can't speak to a person at AT&T, so I called the T-Mobile number, where people used to say, how is your day going? Sometimes, I would talk to someone at T-Mobile for 15 or 20 minutes, just shooting the poop. Today, no one could seem to answer me. One girl kept saying so I understand that you want to transfer to AT&T. One girl could not seem to hear me saying over and over again. I don't know what you mean by merger. Third phone call, girl kept saying, I can't hear you. Amazing. I find this very frustrating. Just for the heck of it, go to AT&T's website and try to contact them. You will find that you can't. Not by phone, not by email. What's up with that?
